How to Prepare

To ensure your procedure goes smoothly, please follow these steps:

Fasting Instructions

Your Anaesthetist will be in contact to give you specific fasting instructions.

Medication Management

Let your doctor know if you're taking blood thinners or diabetic medications - some may need to be paused before surgery.

Clothing & Personal Items

Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Leave valuables at home. Bring your Medicare card, private health insurance details, and any relevant paperwork.

Transport Arrangements

You must arrange for someone to drive you home, as you will not be allowed to drive yourself after sedation.
