Pain Management

Interventional Pain Management at Perth Day Hospital

At Perth Day Hospital, we specialise in minimally invasive pain management procedures designed to target the source of pain—not just the symptoms. Our expert team of pain specialists uses advanced imaging and precision techniques to deliver effective, personalised care for patients suffering from chronic or acute pain.

What Is Interventional Pain Management?

Interventional pain management involves targeted procedures that diagnose and treat pain using image-guided techniques. These procedures are often performed under sedation and can provide relief for conditions that haven’t responded to medication or physiotherapy alone.

Common conditions treated include, but not limited to:

  • Headaches/Migraines
  • Sciatica and Nerve Pain
  • Osteoarthritis and Facet Joint Pain
  • Chronic Back or Neck Pain
  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)
  • Post-Surgical or Post-Traumatic Pain
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • Impingement Syndrome
  • Bursitis
  • Carpel Tunnel Syndrome
  • Trigeminal Neuralgia
