Dr Carl Lee

Dr Carl Lee graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2006 with the Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours. He commenced his initial career in the field of cancer and haematology research at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne.

Dr Lee subsequently obtained his medical degree from the University of Western Australia and completed his anaesthetic training in Western Australia. He is a triple fellowship trained anaesthetist in obstetric anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia and transthoracic echocardiography. All three of which remains his special interests.

Dr Lee maintains a mixed public and private practice. He holds a consultant anaesthetist position at Joondalup Health Campus where he is the supervisor of obstetrics and gynaecology anaesthesia for trainees and monitors patient outcomes.

Within Dr Lee’s private practice, he further sub-specialises in anaesthesia for:

– Major and minor orthopaedic surgeries (upper and lower limb)
– Interventional pain procedures

General surgery subspecialties
– Breast surgeries (oncological/reconstructions)
– Endocrine surgeries
– Cosmetic/aesthetic surgeries
