Dr Falk-Hendrik Droste is a Specialist Anaesthetist and Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA). He completed his medical and specialist anaesthesia training in Germany, where his training encompassed both anaesthesia and intensive care medicine, before moving to Australia in 2018. He is currently a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist at Royal Perth Hospital and also works across several private hospitals in Western Australia.

Dr Droste has broad experience in anaesthesia, including regional anaesthesia, trauma, cardiac anaesthesia, obstetrics, intensive care and emergency medicine. He completed a fellowship in cardiac anaesthesia in Germany as well as fellowships in regional anaesthesia, trauma, simulation and research at Royal Perth Hospital.

He also holds a German Doctor of Medicine (Dr med.) research degree, with his doctoral research focusing on angiogenic factors and their prognostic relevance in bladder cancer.
